“If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. If your right hand makes you stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to go into hell.” – Jesus (Matthew 5:29,30)
Nothing is too valuable to give up to escape the shackle of sin and the eternal torments of hell.
No reputation, no relationship, no privileges, Nothing! Absolutely nothing!
What will a man give in exchange for his soul? The Lord asks, “What will it profit him, if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul?”
Jesus asks for nothing less than your very life.
He wants you “DEAD” to sin and ALIVE to God.
He assures you that if you attempt to keep your life, you will lose it, but if you give it up for his sake, then you will gain it.
He bids you come!
The one who has the power to “lay down his own life, and to take it up again” is asking you to come and die to sin, to come and die to the lusts of the eyes, to die to the lusts of the flesh and die to the pride of life.
The one who is the resurrection and the life is saying, “He who believes in me, though he were dead, yet he will live, never to die again”
Come to Jesus, and DIE!!!
